The Saman dance was performed firstly on Indonesian Cultural Day on April 2004 by Natalia Indrasari, Dhea, Neneng, Iing, Sofi, Abidah, Hidayah, Rahman Dako, Lusi, and Jailani. The second performance was performed at Hawaii Pacific University Dance festival on April 2004 by Natalia Indrasari, Dhea, Neneng, Iing, Sofi, Abidah, Rahman Dako, Lusi, and Jailani. At this time, it was to be the second best performance of the festival. The third performance was performed at East West Fest on the end of April 2004 by Natalia Indrasari, Dhea, Neneng, Iing, Sofi, Abidah, Hidayah, Rahman Dako, Lusi, and Jailani.
The last but not least performance was at Tsunami relief in January 2005. There was 7 Indonesian students namely Jaelani, Iing, Neneng, Dea, Abidah, Lusy and Aga performing Saman dance for that event after practicing for 6 months from a virtual teacher. It was the courtesy of Lia (Natalia Indrasari) who profided a CD explaining step by step of learning the dance.
